You run the business. I'll take care of the rest.

I'm Louis. I build simple tools on top of the system you already use, so your team stops retyping, exporting and chasing numbers, and you can see what's going on without asking anyone.

No tech talk needed. If you can describe the problem, I can take it from there.

Who hasn't paid us yet?

Sound familiar?

Most businesses already have everything they need sitting in their accounting or ERP system. The problem is getting it out in a way that's actually useful. That gap between your business and your software is where I work. I understand both sides, so you don't have to learn mine.

What is all that costing you?

You're spending about $26,880
a year on copy-paste, chasing and rebuilding spreadsheets. That's 96 workdays.

What I build

Tools your team opens every day, connected to your real data, and built to look and work however you want. Here's where I usually start.

Sell more to the customers you already have

The fastest money in most businesses is sitting in the sales history. I turn it into something your sales team can act on.

  • Who's due to reorder, and what they usually buy
  • Customers who've slowed down or stopped ordering
  • Which products and customers make you the most margin
  • Quick order builder with live stock and pricing
  • Reorder reminders sent to customers automatically
  • Simple online ordering for your regular customers

Get paid faster

Who owes what, who to call today, and reminder emails and statements ready to go.

Pay bills without the spreadsheet

See what's due, approve it, plan the transfers and know what the bank will look like in three weeks.

Keep stock right

Every warehouse in one view, low stock flagged early, and purchase orders drafted for you to check.

Excel that updates itself

Your spreadsheets and Power BI reports pull straight from your system. Hit refresh instead of exporting.

Taxes and month-end

GST/HST worked out from your books, late entries flagged, and a month-end checklist that's actually followed.

Paperwork, found fast

Every attached invoice, signed slip and statement, searchable and viewable in one place.

This is just the start.

These are the jobs that come up most. If your team does something by hand every week with information that's already in your system, there's a good chance I can take it off their plate. A few more I've done or been asked about:

Ask me about yours
  • Sales rep commissions
  • Customer rebate programs
  • Price increase rollouts
  • Payroll prep
  • Team task tracker
  • Cross-border shipping paperwork
  • Low-stock email alerts
  • Reading supplier invoices automatically
  • Bank reconciliation checks
  • Credit card statement coding
  • Owner's weekly summary email
  • Label printing

The jobs nobody wants to do.

Every office has a pile of tedious, important work that eats days and only one person knows how to do. That's my favourite kind of problem.

Supplier rebates and accruals

Track volume rebates, promo allowances and program money you're owed, accrue it every month and post it to the books, so none of it gets left on the table.

Watching the inbox

A shared inbox checked for you: purchase orders, remittances and supplier invoices picked out, filed against the right record, and flagged when something needs a person.

Year-end prep

Inventory counts tied out, accrual schedules built, open items cleaned up, and a tidy package ready for your accountant.

Month-end close

A checklist that runs itself: what's done, what's late, what doesn't balance, and who's on it.

Between your own companies

Due-to and due-from balances matched up across companies, with the differences found before your accountant finds them.

Freight and landed cost

Shipping, duty and brokerage spread across the products they belong to, so your margins are real.

Running more than one company? See them all at once.

Lots of distributors run a few companies: one in Canada and one in the US, a retail side, a holding company. Your software makes you look at each one separately. I put them side by side and add them up.

  • Sales, stock and balances for every company on one screen
  • Everything converted to one currency
  • Inventory across every company and warehouse on one line
  • Transfers between your own companies left out, so the totals are honest
Canada company (CAD)$384,900
US company (USD)US$166,300
Both companies, last month, in CAD$612,400
Stock on hand, all warehouses$930,100
Customers owe you$395,300
Sales between your own companiesleft out

Crystal Reports that look like your business.

Invoices, packing slips, statements and purchase orders are what your customers actually see. If yours are cluttered, wrong or held together with workarounds, I'll fix them or rebuild them.

  • Custom invoices, quotes, packing slips and statements
  • Your logo, layout and wording
  • Cross-border and customs documents that come out right the first time
  • Fixing the report that "just stopped working"

Already running in a real business.

These tools aren't a concept. They're in place today at an import and distribution business, used by the office every day to run cash flow, collections, stock, tax filings and the team's daily work.

I built them while running operations there. That's why they're practical.

10+tools used every day

Built your way. Every part of it.

Nothing here is off the shelf. Every tool is designed around your business, so it can look, feel and work however you want.

  1. Looks like youYour logo, your colours, your wording. It should feel like part of your business, not someone else's software.
  2. Works how you workThe screens, the steps, who approves what and who sees what, all set up around how your team already does things.
  3. Does what you needAdd a feature, drop one, connect another system, send the email or alert you want. If you can describe it, it can be built in.

Windsor, Ontario. Working with businesses in Canada, the US and Europe, in person or remotely

I'm a business person who builds software, not the other way around.

For six years I ran operations in import and distribution: paying the bills, chasing payments, managing stock, shipping, payroll, taxes and cross-border paperwork. Along the way I built the tools to make that work easier, and those tools became Levoko.

So when you tell me month-end is a nightmare or you can't tell which customers are slipping, I already know what you mean. I'll explain everything in plain English, and you'll always be talking to the person actually building it.

    Ways to get started

However you start, it works the same way: I learn how your team really does things, you get a working version on your own data quickly, and we fine-tune it together until people use it without being reminded.

    Most people start here

    One problem, solved

Pick the job that hurts most, whether that's collections, reordering, a report or an ugly invoice. I'll build the fix and get your team using it.

    A full set of tools

Start with one, then add the next. Over time your team gets a whole toolkit built around them, like the one in the demo.

    Help when you need it

A prepaid block of hours for changes and new ideas after a project. No monthly retainer.

A fixed price, up frontAfter we talk, you get one number for the job. No meter running while I learn your business.
Pay as it's deliveredA deposit to start, then payments when you can open and use what's been built.
It's yoursOnce it's paid for, you own what was built for you, code included. I never resell your tools to anyone else.

    Questions people ask

I'm not technical. Is that a problem?

Not at all, it's the whole point. You tell me what's annoying or slow in plain English. I handle the technical side and explain anything you need to know without jargon.

We don't use Spire. Can you still help?

Yes. Spire is where I've done the most work, but I connect to QuickBooks, Sage, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Acumatica and most systems that can share their data. If yours can't, I'll tell you honestly.

Do we have to change our system?

No. Everything is built on top of what you already have. Your system keeps working exactly as it does today.

How do you get into our data? Is it safe?

Through a login you create for me, with only the access the job needs, and read-only wherever possible. The tools run on your own computers or on accounts you control, your data isn't copied anywhere else, and you can switch my access off at any time. The demo uses a made-up company, so you never have to share anything just to see what's possible.

    How much does it cost?

It depends on the job, so every project gets a fixed quote after a first conversation. You'll know the number before anything starts. The first conversation is free.

It's just you. What if you get busy, or you're not around?

Yes, it's just me, and that's on purpose: the person you talk to is the person building it. So you're never stuck, once a project is paid for you own the code, every tool comes with plain-language instructions, and everything is built with common, well-known tools that any developer could pick up. Changes and fixes are booked in advance, so you know when they'll happen.

Tell me what's slowing you down.

A sentence or two is plenty. If I can help, I'll say so. If I can't, I'll say that too.

    1. I'll reply within one business day.
    2. We talk for half an hour. I'll show you the demo if it helps.
    3. If it's a fit, you get a fixed price in writing.
